About Us

Professional Quantity Surveyors

Our professional quantity surveyors are experts in construction costs

Elemental Quantity Surveyors, a Christchurch-based practice, specialises in bank reporting, cost planning, contract administration, and insurance valuations. We collaborate closely with developers, investors, homeowners, and financiers to provide accurate, independent advice that keeps projects on track and within budget.

Elemental QS was founded to bring clarity and confidence to the construction process. The company began with the simple belief that numbers should never be left to guesswork. As a result, what started as a small consultancy has become a trusted partner for projects across Christchurch and beyond, supporting everything from residential builds to large-scale commercial developments.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve had a great experience working with EQS, especially Dan. He’s incredibly thorough, down to earth, and makes the numbers make sense (which we really appreciate!). Always professional, easy to deal with, and a genuine pleasure to work with. Would happily recommend Dan and the team at EQS to anyone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve known Daniel Small for a long time and can genuinely say the quality of work coming out of Elemental QS is solid. They’re practical, responsive, and know their stuff. Clear advice, no fluff, and they understand how things actually work on site. Easy to deal with and easy to recommend others who want tidy, accurate work prepared.
